Hello Dr. Sher, I just had my egg retrieval on Friday and everything went well other than the fact that I developed mild-moderate OHSS. 25 eggs were retrieved, 18 mature, and of the 18, 16 were fertilized. I just looked at the report and I see a couple of things that concern me with regards to my husbands semen analysis. The report states he has epithelial cells as well as round cells. His abnormal morphology is 50%. I don’t know what these mean. Could the epithelial and round cells impact the formation of blasts/the quality of the sperm? Can they be removed during the sperm wash? Is his morphology ok? I’m so upset bc I know there is high attrition between days 3-5. Please advise.
