Im 41 and would like to undergo IVF to retrieve and fertilize my egg with my husband. He is 52 and has 3 healthy adult children from previous marriage.We are both in good health.
My question is, are the odds of a healthy pregnancy higher when the eggs are from a 41yr old but the gestational surrogate is in her 20s?
Is there a higher risk of complications, miscarriages, health problems for me and the baby vs If a younger woman carries the baby?
