Breastfeeding-FET

The question

Dear Dr Sher,
Your work has shaped my IVF journey and I want to give great thanks for your generosity in the information you have offered in interviews and YouTube videos. Thanks to you my dream has come true.
Mh question is, can breastfeeding twice a day an almost 2 year old (more comfort feeding than anything) impact the success of a FET.

Thank you.

Answer from Dr. Geoffrey Sher

Yes! I am afraid so because it can increase prolactin which can impact implantation. I would suggest waiting at least 2 cycles after stopping BF before engaging again with FET.

By the way, thank you for your kind sentiments.

Geoff Sher
