Hello Dr Sherr,
I’m 42 years old and I just had my first baby through IVF delivered through C section. How long would you recommend to wait before trying for the second baby. In my case my advanced age might play a role in determining the pregnancy complications Im interested to hear what is the minimum amount of time you recommend to wait before getting pregnant again.

I would suggest waiting until you have stopped breast feeding and have since experienced at least 2 regular menstrual cycles.
