Dear Dr,
Embryo Solution recommended me to contact you to get your point of view on my fertility problem.
With my husband we have a severe male infertility problem and in 2017 we did a fertility treatment when we lived in Singapore. We had 6 embryos (without analyzing their chromosomes) and I quickly implanted 2. I became pregnant with 1 child who is now 4 years old.
In Feb 2020 I had 2 embryos transferred. There was implantation, but the hormone values were not doubling and we finally cut the medication.
We moved to Argentina where we started several treatments, but in most cases, we were unable to obtain embryos. I did about 6 stimulations and managed to have 3 embryos of 5 days genetically healthy. In each stimulation, we were able to obtain between 15-17 eggs. These 3 embryos were transferred at different times and none of them implanted.
The last stimulation was in June 2022 and we used sperm from my husband and a donor. We had 4 blastocyst embryos but all 4 were genetically incorrect.
We moved to the United States 2 months ago and are considering embryo adoption, as some doctors suggest that the quality of my eggs may not be good, beyond quantity.
I am 39 years old, my husband is 53 years old.
The time I was in Argentina, where I did all the treatments without success, I was going through a very stressful time in my life.
I would love to know your opinion on this matter.
Best regards
Sofia
