Hello, I am a 38 year old woman who just completed a failed round of IVF today. I live in Canada and wonder if we don’t have the IVF advancements perhaps as there is in the USA. I am healthy, and somehow during our decade of infertility issues we got pregnant on our own once and have a healthy 3 year old, but, as we struggled to get pregnant with him we are struggling for baby #2. With our IVF cycle we had 3 embryos; 2 didn’t implant and 1 took but developed with severe chromosome defects that ended with a D&C. I don’t know if it’s an implementation issue, or does poor sperm allow for poor embryos, or do we require more technical advancements with our issue? We just want to be out of “infertility jail”, have more healthy babies and complete our family. Are we good candidates for IVF success?
