Hi Dr. Sher, I’m 32 and am a Fragile X premutation carrier (90 repeats) with diminished ovarian reserve (AMH 0.44, on whatever scale the US uses). I just did my first stim cycle starting birth control on day 2 of my period and only taking it 5 days, then one day with no meds before starting microdose Lupron (20 units) twice a day for 3 days. On the third day of microdose Lupron I added 450 units Menopur and continued Menopur for 9 days adding Ganirelix for the last 4 days. Then triggered with 5,000 Pregnyl and 80 units Lupron. I had about 8 follicles growing a week in, and on the day of trigger they were 22, 18, 18, 11, 10, 10, and 9 mm. We hoped to get eggs from the 3 bigger follicles, and while 2 eggs were retrieved, neither were mature. I’m wondering what you would recommend we change from this protocol to have more success on our second try. Thanks!
