Respectfully, Elevated DFI does not negatively affect implantation. What you are experiencing is likely an implantation dysfunction which could be "immunologic" in origin and linked to endometriosis....see below. Both sperm and eggs start off with 46 chromosomes. Then during meiosis (reproductive maturational division, the divide their chromosomes in half to 23 (the haploid number).
